Devotional Morning
A couple fun shots from the morning devotional time. Ken Hutcherson talked about the little slave girl in 2 Kings who suggested that the King, who was holding her captive, go to a Jewish prophet to ask God for healing. I hope I got that right. His point was about forgiveness. But he didn't get to finish his talk because a little boy fainted and caused quite a stir in the crowd. I had my first "I can help. I'm a nurse" moment, as the commotion was near me and I figured I probably knew a little more than most in the crowd. It was a memorable moment. Once it was clear that everything was OK, Glenn got our attention and got us back on track. We then walked togther to hear the Morman Tabernacle Choir. From there I grabbed the largest Starbucks coffee available and hit the road headed for Ogallala, NE.
This is a rather cute picture of David Barton meeting a couple young fans.
