Are we getting "licked" by the government?

One of the surprises of this past summer occurred during a visit to the local Dairy Queen.  Who would have thought the long fingers of government regulation would reach to my favorite sultry season treat!  But alas, upon ordering a crunch cone--a DQ standard, I was told it was no longer available.  If I liked, I could have a cup containing the "crunch" in which to dip my cone.  My blank stare caused the young worker to attempt to explain that there are now rules against "crunch-dipping" as it may spread germs!  Having not been aware of any illness or death related to DQ-dipping, I could hardly compose myself enough to reply that yes, indeed; I did want a cup o' crunch.

Where will the limit of government "protection" end?!?!
