Light in Darkness

I heard an interesting story the other day.  A woman, recently widowed, told of a night when she and her cat were home alone.  She woke up to the sound of the kitty yowling and upon investigation discovered the cat had "almost" caught a mouse!  Unfortunatley the mouse dashed to safety under the piano.  Not one to interfere, the woman quickly returned to her bedroom, closed the door, and place a rug at the bottom so the mouse wouldn't be able to sneek inside.  She then peeked through the key hole and noticed a light was on in the hallway.  Not wanting to risk a mouse-invasion, the woman chose to wait until morning to turn off the light.  The next day she went to turn off the light, but noted it was already off.  She checked the bulb; it was fine. So the question remains, what was the source of the light in the key hole?  God assures us He cares for us and is our protector.  Could it be that He demonstrated His presence that night to a lone woman at the mercy of a mouse...
