Run: Up early to see a wild bunny and a beautiful rainbow while most were just getting to their coffee.
Write: Lots of editing today! Summer is Project Season at ACTS. Now is the time to review and refine various procedures, policies, and prepared-response paragraphs that were created in the heat of the moment during tour season. I enjoy business writing - composing for clarity and simplicity.
Read: Reflections from the past few days include the idea that the grace I receive (both from God and others) is given with the purpose of passing along. How often I savor and cling to "my" grace and cast a critical eye (and heart) to others.
Another reading that fit so perfectly into this season of life: Our Daily Bread - June 4, 2016. In particular, 1 Peter 4:7-11 and the corresponding Insight. No commentary needed, IMHO.
I did set aside the phone last night and had the joy of getting pulled into the Michael Vey story. I had put off reading this since it was started with my nephew. But he's now gone for a month of camping...
It was a fun day in the office as it's ACTS' first day in the new venture of hosting an intern! Already I'm impressed. For all the millennials that are worthy of complaint, there are some good eggs out there. I'm excited for her and the skills she brings and for ACTS - watch out world! We may just get a lot done with summer - that makes my heart sing!

The cherry on the cake today was a
wonderfully lovely surprise delivered to the office!
Thank you, Dad!
