Eve of the Day

This was a nice way to start the day!  

I hope neph' is having a good birthday week, too!    

          

Read:  "Do nothing out of selfish ambition...value others above yourself...looking...to the interests of the others."  Does my life exemplify that even a bit?! Oh how we could rock the world if we endeavored to live by the Book every day - or even for a fraction of a day!

Write:  This is it.  I forgot the notebook write-down-ideas-as-they-come plan.  Tomorrow is a new day.

Run:  It happened.  Each day is a victory.  A long run is lurking in the near future - I'm telling myself tomorrow would be a nice day for it as it's only suppose to get warmer and more humid.

Pleasantries in the day:  Lunch outing with Admin Team and returning employee.  It's nice to be welcoming back a former team member who is excited to get back in the game.  

Dinner out with the boss for my birthday - yummy BBQ at Old Southern BBQ.  It's one of the few spots in the area with outdoor seating.  It was nice to relax and catch up a bit on life outside the office.

I'm sure there was more to the day, but my brain is done.  Again, tomorrow is a new day - that's encouraging!!
