Hay!
Sunday - a day of rest.
People find rest in different ways. I find restoration in being outside...in the breeze, soaking in the sun, listening to the birds, and moving my body that otherwise spends way too much time at a desk. So today was a great day to "hay." We use hay to mulch the gardens and when that's done, it's bagged up for future need or for animals. So it's a shame to loose a batch of hay.
I did read a bit from The Nurses. ODB pointed out that times of tears and laughter are often intermixed.
In the news, there was a terrorist attach in Orlando. It's so peaceful here...it's surreal that there are places in the world that are so far from peace. It's tempting to hide here at the Haven of Rest, yet we are called to shine - and to shine brightly...from home to beyond...
I looks as though it was a day off from running, which is OK - still got five runs in for the week.
Peonies are one of my favorites! If only this was a scratch-n-sniff!
