Passing Whirlwind
The last of a three-day whirlwind!
About a year ago our resident trapper moved in and began his efforts on a small, yet effective scale. An now, we are trapping bear! Well perhaps it's better said that the DNA is capturing our squatter bear. Our trapper did mention he would like "one of these" for Christmas - try to wrap that!
Learning to Love (ODB): The booklet is highlighted from beginning to end. My first thought was here we go again with another First Corinthians 13 cliche. But I was wrong - I need more of that! The question is asked "why love." "...follow the way of love. Love is the essential activity of God himself and when men love either Him or their fellow men, they are doing (however imperfectly) what God does." And God is pleased when we act like Him." The following questions were good to...worded a bit differently and struck a cord. And then how God is the source of that love. And then as I set the link above, the picture caused my heart to swell - beautiful.
It feels like a vacation to come home from work without the detour of a commitment of sorts.

Three days of hosting an intern.
All sorts of interpersonal nuances at the office.
Bible study - confession: I didn't go due to a last minute matter my carpool friend ran into...and I made myself available to her should she need a second-set-of-hands... and I realized I had neither the phone number nor address of the study hostess...which I did get resolved the following day (no excuse next time).

Days for Girls Information Gathers / co-hostess of: Very lovely evening, great cause, great in-the-zone conversation afterward with my fellow co-hostess as we harvested lettuce and spinach from her garden, viewed the three-day-old piglets, and enjoyed the colorful flower gardens.
Up early to head to the hospital before the office job in order to get my badge and a quick mini-orientation to prepare for the Saturday shift.
I think there have been three RUNs this week so far...
There's a good dent in The Nurses - hoping to finish that READ this week. With working the weekend at the hospital (total of 2 hours of drive time), 41 will also likely be a wrap!

Something NEW today: I took a break at work and sat outside!
