Elixir!

The first day back to the office after a week of vacation.  Or rather, after a week of vacation it is the first day back to the office.

What a nice vacation it was!  Hours in the car listening to audio books and talk radio, enjoying the scenery and the opportunity to "look far" rather than at too-near screens.  Visits with friends that stretched beyond a cup of coffee or dinner.  Seeing new things and venturing on different roads.  Being taken a bit aback at the Providential timing of some happening.  Having "old" friends who feel the freedom to introduce new friends.  Standing firm yet friendly amid waves.  Observing some aged wisdom that has crept into oneself.  

And with a vacation comes resolutions, aspirations, lists of things to do upon return.  And so enters the first elixir!

One cap-ful of unpasturized apple cider vinegar

One fork of local honey

Sacred Pathways:  This book came across my path today and it struck a cord as I ponder purposeful prayer (I should do less pondering and more actual praying).  It speaks to the idea (reality) that people commune with God in different ways.  I have added it to my Amazon cart.  Stay tuned for a review.
