Beck Fest Summary
What a great time! The event (Man in the Moon) was excellent!
Those who regularly listen to Glenn likely have heard that the weather was a bit sketchy to the point of questioning whether the event would need to be canceled. Glenn did admit that perhaps he had gotten a bit prideful in believing that he had everything under control. God used this week of rain--a week that hasbeen historically, via the Farmer's Almanca, one of the driest of the year--to show that He is still involved. David Barton prayed boldly that God would intervene. I must admit that I was a bit nervous--David had been so bold--to put God on the spot--in front of so many people--what if God didn't come through and people though less...little...or nothing of Him. Alas, within a short time, the clouds began to part and the sun to peek through and before long there was a rainbow--then two rainbows! And much credit was given to the One who looked down and gave His blessing on this great event.
