Catching Up
Well, I've had a variety of technical problems that have gotten in the way of posting. Perhaps today will be better as I did some maintenance on my computer last night.
In a nutshell, yesterday was a busy day of talking about ACTS! It's great to see and hear the enthusiasm of those who stop by the table. The other vendors include unknown (or yet to be known)authors of both fiction and non-fiction, there are several food storage/preparedness booths, Common Core information (I picked up info for the North Country Patriots!), t-shirts, wall hangings, Tea Party Patriots, Freedom Works, on and on! A very good turn out!
The vendors are open all day, every day while there are speaker events and book signings going on. The museum sold out before the even happened, but due to popular demand they opened up more times--9pm, 10pm and 11pm tonight! I got a ticket for 10 pm--after vendoring and the Freedom Works event! This will be quite the day for this introvert!
Salt Lake City is beautiful! Fortunately Wednesday afternoon after I set up the table, I went walking to see the Temple and the Capitol. When I went back to the vendor table area it was swimming with "participants" so we ended up having an unofficial day of vendoring Wednesday afternoon/evening.
The drive out was wonderful! I love long drives--much time to think, listen to the radio, talk to God, and just stare out the window. It was a totally uneventful journey--I wouldn't count no cell phone service in Cheyenne as an "event" although it did have me spinning since I couldn't remember if I had told the momma I would call when I landed. Fortunately the Hotel 6 had an option to purchase WiFi, so I was able to email my step-sister Genyi who was visiting and she relayed the message to the momma.
I hope the posts will come more quickly--and easier today.
