Day 28 of 30

Finish strong...finish well, I tell myself.

Nearing the finish line it is tempting to walk...or to just be done with this reindeer game.  But then there is also the choice of finishing well - sigh.

A whirlwind came through again over the weekend both in reality and figuratively.  A summer storm took down branches and a few trees along with power in many areas.  It came through while I was working at the hospital - hoping and praying it wouldn't turn into an opportunity to practice the tornado/severe storm procedure!  And it didn't....

Nursing-wise it was a good weekend.  Three patients and the time to actually feel as though I gave good care.  My co-workers were good sports in showing me the ins-and-outs and tricks of the new facility.  It was good to be a part of the Fellowship of Nursing.

Monday morning came quickly and that day was long with Bible study in the evening.  And already it is Tuesday and I have yet to regain a rhythm to life.

CTB: "There must be light in the valley of the shadow of death, otherwise there wouldn't be a shadow. Jesus will be out light there."

CTB:  "Do you know which future is awaiting the world? A kingdom of peace...the purpose of this global battle we find ourselves in is peace on earth."

I like the rhythm of this verse: "To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy." Although it seems incomplete...

So there is a WRITE following some READs with no evidence of a RUN or other exercise deeds.
